The Thunder Rolls On By Brandy Morris The Oklahoma City Thunder has come a long way since last season. Last season they had 1 preseason win and 22 regular season wins. This season they have won 2 preseason games and 22 regular season games with 42 games left to play after defeating the Miami Heat on Jan. 16. The team has improved tremendously after making coaching adjustments by replacing P.J. Carlesimo with Scott Brooks early in the season last year. A few changes in the roster and the Thunder are rolling. Kevin Durant, a starting forward for the Oklahoma City Thunder, currently leads the team averages in points with 29.1 and 7.2 rebounds. KD, as Thunder fans know him, has been a scoring machine. He has had 12 games this season scoring 30 or more points. His performance this season has kept the Thunder fans roaring. Russell Westbrook, point guard for the Thunder is the current assist leader. Westbrook and Durant are making their presence felt on the court around the NBA.
